Thanks to Dick and Berry for the notes back:

It was a long day yesterday - spend 5 hours getting to the clutch and
removing the pedal box (the clutch pedal hole is elongated
and I need to get it welded closed so I can redrill it). The only part that
remains in the clutch release shaft is 'not' threaded, but the
center hole on the arm where the slave cylinder is also slightly elongated
so I'm going to replace this with a new one. After reading
the two recommendations is to cut the shaft in half and dig out the broken
pin with an 'easy out'.

St. Louis weather is perfect for 'TRing'....68 yesterday and 65
today...hopefully mine will be back on the road soon.
