Mike--As expected, the valves will open farther with the 1.65 rockers.
This is known to bleed off some cylinder pressure, just as a cam with a
longer duration would. (Not necessarily a bad thing for a street engine,
when starting with a CR as high as yours.) However, losing 30 lbs. of
pressure seems like more than you should have experienced after
installing this mod., everything else being equal. Still, if your
readings are more or less even, I'd let things be. You won't be able to
change this any meaningful amount by trying new lash adjustments. Note
that adding an S2 may lower the pressure even more, though it will
produce more top end HP.
