Hi listers,

Thanks to all 6packers who gave advice, my speedo is now working fine, better
than ever. No problem at all, I have now bypassed the interval counter with
the longer one-piece speedo cable, and the speedo no longer jumps plus/minus 10
mph or so when running. I had lubed both upper and lower cables before this,
speedo kept jumping. Bypassing the interval counter with a new cable did the
trick. Replacing the sagging front springs is next, but driving around the new
england countryside for many fun-filled hours gave me a procrastination excuse
to put that off for a while (real soon now...)

Another thing - my TR6 did not have a spare wheel when I bought it 2 years ago,
and I wonder if anybody has an extra steel wheel, standard for 76 tr6, that I
could buy. I do get a little nervous riding around without a spare. I
actually have a spare redline, just no wheel. I've changed to modern radials
already, but the redline will do for a spare.
