Fred,

I had a problem many years ago that behaved the same. It turned out that the
fuel was boiling in the line where it goes through the frame tunnel next to the
exhaust. I had insulated my header which increased the temperature in the pipes
through the tunnel. I solved the problem by insulating the fuel line.
