I have a leaking rear seal that has not been solved with new seals or
surfacing the flange. I was looking in the big 3 catalogs, and noticed
that the flanges for the non-overdrive and A-type overdrive are not
round while the J-type's is round. I have a non-overdrive and the
flange is round, apparently like the J-type. From the catalogs, I also
noticed that the seals are different. Could I have a mismatched seal
and flange?
If this isn't the problem, the non-round flanges are still available,
though a bit expensive. I could also try a readi-sleeve - any
experience with those?
