Aloha all,
Well, another complaint about the front suspension rebuild kit I got from
Rimmer in Nov. I was replacing the sway bar bushings and as I had read about
the trouble replacing the Ubolts. Well as I received new ones with my kit, I
just used the dremmel to cut off the old ones. (This is a constant learning
process)
At any rate, the replacement U-Bolts don't fit in the factory holes. They are
about a 1/8 inch to wide.
I've checked out the local sources over here for hardware and no one seems to
have the 1 5/8" Ubolts. Any issues with moving the Ubolts in towards the
center of the car about a 1/2" and drilling new holes?
