Just put 600 miles on the TR6 with a trip to the outer banks on NC. All was
well until the last 100 miles or so. I noticed the engine would bog down
under load over 3000 rpms with the throttle wide open. It runs smoothly, it
just
runs out of power The engine spins up to red line in 1st gear without any
problems, and cruises great at any rpm, as long as there is not a lot of load
on
the engine and the throttle is only partially open. It idles fine. I have
triple strombergs and crane electronic ignition. I was thinking of changing
out the fuel filter first. Any other ideas?
