Dave, I bought the plastic tunnel and seals from TRF and installed them last
year. The seals were self adhesive with a peel off backing so I stuck them to
the floor pan, made holes as required and then fought with the plastic tunnel
for several hours until I coerced it into position. It is all coming off again
this winter when I take the motor out :-(

Hey guy! Sounds like everything came together, with the usual insights
and learnings.
Question. When you installed the new tranny tunnel, did you use any
seals between the tunnel and the floorpans? TRF sells an install kit
with hardware and four seals (one for each side, one for fore and aft).
Aside from the fact you have to be something of a contortionist to
install the tunnel in the fist place, getting the rubber seals to stay
put while installing the cover is almost impossible Especially since
you first need to make holes in the seals to provide for the bolts to
pass through... So, did you just bolt yours in or did you use some
sort of sealant. Also, did you bolt in the five bolts holding the
front "arch" of the tunnel to the firewall?
