Hi,
I was always one to use kerosene or even gasoline at times but a word of
caution. Three years ago a good friend lost his teenage son when the son
dropped a trouble light near a parts washer filled with kerosene. In the
ensuing fire the washer spilled it's contents and the son burned to death on
the shop floor. My friend has since returned to work in the same shop and
everyday is a struggle.
I'd insist on a regular non-flammable washer fluid.
