My friend George (200SX SE-R) and I (Sentra SE-R) ran in Street Touring this
year at the National Championships. He finished 7th out of 15 cars even
though his first time autocrossing the car in ST form was on the practice
course at Forbes Field the weekend of the Pro Solo Finale (i.e., Nationals
was event No. 2). I finished in 8th about three tenths behind George even
though I had the skinniest wheels and tires in the class.

So definitely worthwhile ST material at the local level and maybe pretty
competitive at the national level with a little bit better preparation.

To find good deals on used SE-Rs, check out:

SE-Rs are fun autocross cars ... and fun daily drivers ... and fun on road
courses ... and fun embarrasing some V8s at the drag strip ...
