Could it work to go to a 8 stock class format.
AS Front Engine Rear Drive over 15 lbs/hp
BS Rear Engine Rear Drive over 15 lbs/hp
CS Front Engine Front Drive over 15 lbs/hp
DS Four Wheel Drive over 15 lbs/hp
ES Front Engine Rear Drive under 15 lbs/hp
FS Rear Engine Rear Drive under 15 lbs/hp
GS Front Engine Front Drive under15 lbs/hp
HS Four Wheel Drive under 15 lbs/hp
You could use a 200lb driver in the calculation to even things out. To
ballance things out, you could change the lbs/hp. Most of the bickering of
"Throw the bum with the fast car to some other class" arguments just go
away.
