FW: How viable is an M3 in AS or S3?

Of course I forgot to mention Andrew Bettencourt as another successful M3
driver, but he has also moved on to something else.  I'm probably forgetting
some others too.  My apologies.

An M3 could probably kick butt in SM (picture a supercharged one prepped by
TC Kline or Dinan or the like), but could also get expensive, so I'm staying
in stock class.
