So I'm looking for some advice and got some help here when I bought my
tow vehicle, so I'm back for more. My wife volunteers with an animal
rescue group that is considering buying an 89 E350 diesel van. Since I'm
the official "car guy" of the group they want me to check it out. Does
anyone have any suggestions on things I need to check? Any specific
problems these vehicles have? I have some Chevy knowledge but don't know
anything about Ford strengths and weaknesses. It's got 160,000 miles,
but don't diesels normally run "forever?" Thanks in advance!
