Hello,
        Well I think any well designed rumble seat will have some sort of
mechinism to lock the seatback into position.  If the people were wear 
reasonable seat belts would they still faceplant into the rear deck? Hmm
maybe make the rear deck removable. That would leave a lot of wiggle room.
I wonder if the frame is overly strong enough to handle losing the tunk/
package shelf wall and the rear deck.   Hmmmm...
        Why mess with such a good thing... Hell I don't know.. I guess I have
always had a very serious case of 'tinker-itis'
