hi all,

thx for the help with the charging problem. that has been resolved. being
happy again, I decided to put brake fluid in the car to check my new hoses
and front cylinders. after doing so i heard a nice squirty sound followed by
a nice amount of fluid running on the floor. so i checked the rear line and
found that it was not tight enough. this really surprised me because it took
me forever to tighten it when i installed it. i finally got that squared
away. i then checked the fronts and found that there was fluid on the
drivers side front tire. this turned out to be a bleeder screw i forgot to
tighten down. so after cursing myself i was happy again and started to put
fluid into the car again. my wife was pushing on the pedal and telling me if
it was getting harder to push. it was getting there but not good enough.
while sitting next to the passenger side front brakes bleeding them i
noticed another small pool on the floor. I immediately thought of the new
brake line I had to install so I checked the junction block. the new line
looked fine. i then found that the line going from the junction block to the
rear of the car had sprung a leak at the fitting. i tried to tighten her up
but the leak would not stop. so i now have to replace that line. so, does
this sound normal for an old line or is the junction block bad? is there a
better alternative to the stock junction block?

thx,

mike
