New motor mounts would be advisable as they deteriorate with age, heat and oil accumulations. A new starter would be nice too as it's a bitch to replace when the motor is in the car. I have a new gear reduction starter in mine and I like it. The problem with rebuilt starters is that they have been rebuilt and sometimes rebuilt many times and you don't know the quality of the work. I have had rebuilt starters fail on more than one occassion. PITA Mike |
