Women can sure be deflating. You spend a bunch of time on an improvement,
any improvement, and they simply say "It doesn't look any different". My ex had
a similar reaction to my Bose surround system in our living room until she
watched "Top Gun" on DVD for the first time. Take her for a ride in the car and
put on a soundtrack from a Tom Cruise movie and she'll think she's in a
Porsche!
