I don't recommend doing sleeve's if they aren't mandatory.... generally
speaking its' always best to use the original metal as there is no chance of
it failing if there is enough of it there...  the only issue with a sleeve
is if you go to a below average machine shop and they don't get the sleeve
pressed in correctly.... heating the block and cooling the sleeve...( I
think that's right....)  the idea is that you want full metal to metal
contact of the sleeve to the bored out block...and you want it stepped so
the sleeve is locked into position and flush with the deck.... Generally
it's a good idea to also deck the block as much as is necessary to get it
flush again so the head's got a perfect surface to seal to.,
