He does have 90w, but his OD seems to be working OK when he uses the dash 
switch to engage/disingage.  He was just under the wrong impression as to how 
it works.

I always have used 30ND as well.

I'll add my 2 cents here for what it is worth.  I agree with David & Dave on 
O/D working.  What I haven't seen is if he really has 90 wt oil in the tranny.  
If he does, that is not correct and could cause problems.

Oh yes, 30 wt non detergent should be fine.
