Firstly i'd like to congratulate on your epic journey and hope the long
novel 'war and peace' was worth it, just please dont send a note out saying
the mountains of money, ear ache from the wife, scuffed/bruised/bloody
knuckles and other body parts, lonely nights spent in the garage is not
wasted. Hopefully its like the joy of hearing your first son (and only -
spent too much on the healey!) cry as your straight six bursts into life
and feel the wind in your face driving to your first pub to celebrate with a
well earned pint.

Unfortunately i still appear to be reading the expanded version of the novel
written in Swahili (is that swear-healey and without pictures) and have
little to show for it with hundreds of plastic bags / boxes full of bits.
Some new, some old, some lovingly restored awaiting their first fit in the
jigsaw puzzle of the mass of rusty metal that was once a living breathing
motor car now in stone like hibernation.

I just keep saying to the understanding other half that 'yes it does look
like fred flintstones car' but 'you will be sorry when i drive it with the
hood down and your not allowed in it'. Hmmm nearly seems all worth while
just to see the many sceptics faces!

Anway, glad you stayed the distance, well done, perhaps i will ask the same
question when i have finished and fancy getting rid of the spare bits so
that i could perhaps get 2 cars in the garage (instead of a rusty 40 year
old chassis).

regards Andy
