Note in the reference that I cited it says:
--- "A thin coating (0.001- to 0.0015-inch) of nitrile rubber or Viton
is used on the external surfaces as well as between the layers to
provide maximum sealing." ---
There are several versions of MLS gaskets. In this case, I believe the
DWR gasket uses Viton, not nitrile, & is reusable as Michael said.
I agree with the torquing procedure for ARP studs, except Viton coated
MLS gaskets don't have the nitrile sticking problem.
