It's like most anything----it can be abused.  Alcohol can be--heck---even 
sex-------well---not sure on that one:)

The point is that it is just another form of communication and, if used as an 
occasional communications device, it can be fun.  Heck--even some--well -- lots 
of people abuse the texting thing, but that doesn't make it a bad thing.

Now-----it certainly can't, I hope, replace this list.

If you think Facebook is an issue, try foursquare.  We had a business 
associate that would let you know where he was at any given minute. (at home 
depot buying a screwdriver, picking up the laundry...)  We needed to have an 
intervention with him and when that didn't totally work, 10 of us signed up 
and pummeled him with every little thing we were doing.
