Addendum to my earlier comment.... I was assuming you had the ignition on,
and the engine not running. (If the engine is running, then periodic
clicking is important....:-) )

Thanks

Subject: [Healeys] Fuel Pump query

Hi,

If I turn the ignition on in my MkII BT7, the petrol pump does its clickety
click click as per normal, then it clicks about once every 90 seconds
thereafter. There is no leak that I can detect, nor a smell of fuel
anywhere. Tapping the float chambers, a cure-all for many SU issues, makes
no difference. Any ideas...? Or is it normal? (I don't think so).

And, of course, I could simply ignore it....

Simon
