For at least 10 (Ithink) years, there has been a twenty four hour endurance
rally that was started at John Twists University Motors picnic. The course
was apporximately 1000 miles. Most of the cars had been modified somehow, and
many of the drivers drove it as a bingo rally. There have been only a few
breakdowns, and these were due to anciallary parts (i.e. alternators, wiring,
etc), never the engine.
