I tried the Mityvac when I installed my front discs on my '58. I sucked air
into the lines continuously. Went back to the old tried and true, pump the
pedal. Found my leaks this way and got a good pedal. My mityvac is now
only used for checking vacuum.
I have heard that the guys in the brake shops have contests to see who can
throw a mityvac the farthest.
