I agree 100%. Consumer reports failed the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ series as an
unsafe and unacceptable 4X4, because the tank is under the right side seat.
Their logic baffles me. If you are involved in an accident bad enough to damage
either tank, that will be the least of your worries.
