... I bought a not so new 95 GMC pickup as a commuter, so I was able to
tear into my 59's ... it's an effective way to get the job going.
what's a Honda Civic? Is that like one of those other small non-truck like
vehicles that keep getting caught under my bumper?

vehicle, I can get busy on tearing into the '59, I haven't done much with ti
lately because I've been using my IROC as transportation and the IROC's been
getting a bit tired, so I've kept the '59 as-is, in case I needed a backup
vehicle.
So see, the moral of the story is buy a new car so you can work on
your old truck:)
