Ever heard of jamb-tacs? they eliminate the need for jamb-wires.
The only drawback is, that power-windows and speakers stop working when the
door is opened.
They got them from 2 to (i think) 5 or six contact versions.
There are also types with built-in switch for the dome-light.
I believe they sell 'em at jegs, summit, and all other big shops.
