I second the notion on braided steel. I installed a set of these on my 78 El
Camino. For the past 4 years they have been working perfect. I paid 94$ for
them - and that was with a little discount. Of course my tranny cooler is
integrated into my radiator so I had a long way to go with those hoses. But
I've had no leaks, and they still look brand new.
