4 of us have moved my '55 cab on several occasions. It's not light but 4 of
us were able to manage it.
The option you have other than 4 big guys, is what you said .. hoist it up.
I've seen people do it by taking the doors off and running a board through
the doors ... this might be the exact wrong way to do it. I dunno. Let some
other list members chime in with their experience.
Once you get it up though .. if you still have a rolling chassis, you can
just roll it out from under it and then set the cab back down. I took
advice from other list members and made a cab dolly and it has worked
perfectly.
