They make a different flavor of teflon tape for use with gas lines; it's
yellow instead of white.  I don't know why it's different, but it is (and
costs more, of course).  I avoid this by using a tube of pipe goop that says
it's ok for both water and gas use.  Anyone know why regular white tape
isn't supposed to be used?
