List,

I'd like to summarize the responses I received to my posting.

Problem 1) Hard restarting after short drive and parking for short time.

RA Woodward Temp gage shoots up, engine hot
        Shawn Flooded
        Rodney Orr Failed Condenser
        A. Mace Vapor lock

I've elimated the first two, partially eliminated the 3rd (electronic
ignition)
I'm thinking the electronic ignition could still be in the running.
Vapor lock is still the most likely candidate, so far.

Problem 2) Monkey screams from rear-end

        Kris Powell U-Joints
        A. Mace Rear wheel hub bearing

Lots of people have suggested U-Joints. I'm in the process of
rebuilding the rear
suspension and will replace U-Joints and bearings.

Problem 3) Chassis front-end

        A. Mace Use Sawz-All to remove parts car chassis piece, take to
welder
                        with chassis dimensions and specs

Thanks Andy. This is one idea I would not have come up with.

Thanks to all who responded for helping me with these problems,

Viv-la-tech. ;)

Vic
