OK, just got back from Home Depot. They sell 3" dia. aluminium flex tubing,
normally used for dryer venting. It's about $6 for a piece that starts out
at about 2' and extends to 8', it's just perfect. I checked it out on the
Spit, and it fits nicely from next to the radiator all the way back to the
footwell area of the firewall, on both sides.
I'm a little hesitant about cutting 3" holes in the firewall, but as long as
I'm not going for the concours look...
Next, need to find a grill for either end. Shoulda looked at the dryer vent
stuff. This could work rather well !!
