Joe,
  Where did you get these "tow seam strips" ??  I'm assuming that they
cover the spot welded seam between the lower valence & fender?  Is that
correct?  I've been trying to figure out how I was going to make some...

Jeff,
  Replacing the lower valence isn't all that hard, especially if you
proceed carfeully - just remember the old axiom "measure twice, cut
once."  I also found it was easier to cut a little less off than I
thought, and then carefully fit the panel with a touch of edge grinding
here and there.  BTW, the panel comes with no holes in it.  Therefore,
you need to drill/cut those yourself.  I would suggestlooking into some
fiberglass repair from the inside if the area isn't too big...
