A friend and I restored our hardtops together using all of the same 
materials. I installed Dynamat isulation material and he didn't. It made a 
big difference in the sound it made. you could tap on his and it sounded 
like a bell, mine sounded like a dull solid thump. It made a huge difference 
in the amount of noise going down the road also.
