Mark,
I remember an old tech tip.
Buy a can of that insulation that has a spray tip. Squirt it into the
hole with the applicator tip and then let it expand inside and capture
those little rivet scraps as it hardens. You will only need a little bit
as most of that stuff expands like crazy.
