My Mitsu has 4 wheel disks also. The rear brake rotors also have a brake
drum and tiny little cable operated brake shoes inside for the parking brake.
 Kinda like having 6 brakes.

My '67 Rover 2000TC had 4 wheel disks, but I can't remember how the parking
brake worked. I have the book at home. (Somewhere!)

The new Contour (well, new to me) has rear drums. :-( I can upgrade to SVT
brakes, but I have to recover some finances first!
