Hi Chris,

If the car is as described, 3600 does not sound out of line, but I would still
try to get it for less.  The worst that can happen is that you will need to pay
the full asking price. My '72 Midget was my daily driver for 10 years in Oregon 
&
Washington. They handle beautfully in snow, but you do need to be especially
careful of idiots in 4WD vehicles that think they know how to drive and are
unable to see anything smaller than a building. If the Michelins are original, 
or
near to it, I would get them off as soon as possible. Michelin had some problems
in that era and their tires were real squirrely in wet weather. Allen gave you
some good tips on what to check, so go get your new car and come back & join us.
Robert let you know what else is "required" for list membership, so start
thinking about your answers to those questions.
