Chris
Thanks for the link on 1500 engine building.
I am mad at my 1500 at the moment.
At a time trials race this weekend It would start missing at 4000 RPM
which equalled absolutely no power. I'm running a Pertronix sensor with
a Bosch blue coil. I seem to be saturating the coil. so I'll try a
Pertronix coil and see If that helps. I got black flagged during
qualifying for leaving my exhaust system all over the track. But
fortunately begged a drive in a same class Volvo 142. It actually had
some horsepower and wasn't rubbing tires and scraping the exhaust on
every turn and missing and overheating and leaking rear end oil like
the Midget.
In my present state, I'm thinking of forgetting racing the Midget as a
club racer and slapping a Mazda 12b drivetrain in it and using it as a
Autocrosser, where it might actually be competitive.
Being still unemployed, I'm just not rich enough to club race the thing.
