The floor of one stall poured dead flat, to use as a surface for alignment,
fabrication, etc

Floor finish that is absolutely impervious to our favorite chemicals
including brake fluid and lacquer thinner

One section with floor drain

Wall finish that does not require repainting every time something blows up
on it (I've had two - one antifreeze, one oil)

TV permanently tuned to Speed Channel, good sound system

I would not build it 2 cars wide and two cars deep. If space allows, I'd
build it four cars side by side, but deeper for space in front of the cars
for equipment. Pros and cons including roofline, number of doors, yada yada.

Well insulated overhead doors, not cheapies.

Waste oil dump tank, and subscribe to emptying / treating service

Engine stand to allow startup prior to installing in car. Ideally, with
provision for placing some amount of load on engine.
