hi,

now that the little red car is running, after a few years
being idle, i now remember how bad the ride was. i think
it is time to do somthing with the suspension. i figure at
minimum i will replace the front shocks maybe the rear. my
questions to you all are:

1) what are recomended front shocks for a 250, for good
performance but not racing? TRF lists Armstrong, Koni
and Spax. others? (i want to minimize work so a good
   fit is important)

2) what else should i look for or replace while i have front
all apart? there seems to be several bushing kits around.
   ball joints? etc.

3) anti-roll(sway) bars look like a popular item to put in
as they were not original on 250s. what are peoples
   experiences with these? worth it?

4) whats the deal with the rear lever-shocks. can they be
rebuild, or just replaced? (assuming they are shot and
not just devoid of fluid (which is $15 a can!))

5) what else should i look for or replace while i have rear
   all apart?

6) lastly, somewhat related, what fluid should go in the
   differiental?

any info would be appriciated!

thanks,

kbt
