In Norwegian we have a nickname for those "easy out" things. For the
benefit of the "family" profile of this list, I will not reveal which
part of the male pig anatomy which this nickname refers to :-).
I have only one advice: Steer clear of them. If the stud is so loose that
you'll manage to get it out with an "easy out", you can get them out
by other means too. And when it breaks, you are left with a *much*
bigger problem (hardened steel) than you originally had.

You run a slight risk of destroying the stud if it is really stuck.
Frost (in UK) has available an inexpensive kit consisting of 4 sockets
of various size for stud extraction. It works very well IMHO. Snap-on
also has them, but at a price.
