There is a guy in town who is installing a V8 into a TR-4A.
He is upgrading the diff. mounts in back.
He had to cut away a lot of sheet metal from under the hood.
He had to route the steering OVER the engine with some sort of
90 degree coupling in front leading straight down to the rack!
I would think long and hard about V8
However Ford, I believe turbocharged some 4 cylander engines in
the late 70's and 80's. I think they went into Mustangs.
(But I would never promote such a thing :-)
