Michael Noerregaard wrote about his car's sluggish performance. One thing to check is the actual advance plate where the weights are located. These can corrode/rust and then you have no advance whatsoever. Easy to check with a timing light. Did I read somewhere that TR6's didn't like lots of advance or am I making this up?
