I also use a "large car" Triumph gearbox (in a GT6). This actually came
from a 2500 sedan. I used a slightly different approach:

Flywheel: standard TR6/Sedan - lightened to 2 kg lighter than the original
GT6 flywheel (yes that's a LOT of shavings on the lathe)

Clutch: standard TR6.

Clutch lever: Original TR6, with operating lever bent back toward the
gearbox (S shape), this is to provide clearance from the chassis. The
original slave cylinder is used, the bracket is sliced in two between the
mounting bolts and the hole for the cylinder, the bottom half was then
reversed and rewelded (at a bit of an angle).

The rear housing was modified to allow standard "cotton reel" type GT6
gearbox mounts to be used, a custom mounting plate that extends 25 mm
further back is used.

Shortened tail shaft (only 815 mm at full extension!!!) 4 inches taken from
the sedan "wand" gear lever.

Sorry to bore, someone might get something from it.
