Any sissors jack that will fit under the spit will work. Your car is very
light, so even the flimsy ones they put in nissans will work just fine. I
wouldn't buy one new, though. Don't they have any swap meets where you are?
You should be able to get one at a swap meet for about $5.00 The thing I
noticed about fixing flats on spitfires, is that the car sits so low when
the tire is flat that you have to have someone lift up the car while you
slide the jack under it anyway. Maybe someone could come up with a
hydraulically operated or air powered inside diameter micrometer that can
skooch under the spit when it gets a flat and pump the car up far enough to
get an inflated tire on the hub!
