Hi,
I replaced my GT6+ trans cover with a fiberglass one from Vickie Brit. The
key to beating the heat is to line the glass cover with a plastic bag full of
fiberglass insulation. Just like the one that the factory stapled to the
original cardboard cover. Also make sure you have a foam rubber seal between
the cover and the firewall/ frame.
As for 'glassin the origianl cover.....mine looked like a wet Kleenex when i
took it out and trying to glass that thing would have been impossible!
