I would like to thank all those for their suggestons on some light reading
concerning the history of the Triumph Marque.

It seems that anything from Robson or Piggott is a good place to start. A word
of caution is that most books deal with UK spec vehicles so you can't take
anything as gospel when in comes to those imported to North American.

Several have recommended not to waste the money on the books but to beg borrow
or steal them from a fellow club member and return in the next few days (most
books have a high % of photos so the reading goes fast).

A book recommended for detail on the US market TR250/TR6 is "The Triumph
TR5/250 and TR6 Companion" by Steven Rosi and Ian Clarke (available through
TRF). Recommendations for the Spitfire include Mike Cook's "The Triumph
Spitfire" and Thomason's originality guide while for the Herald and Vitesse is
a book by Costigan.

Hope this helps,
Ken
