How about a Triumph Snow story

10 years ago a reclaimed my TR7 from my mother (we swapped it back and forth
for 15 years) in British Columbia, Canada. To get it back to the prairies
required driving through the mountains in early March. 10 minutes into my
ascent into the Coastal Mountains the snow started. Ignoring the chains
requires sign the TR7 and I tucked in behind a plow and fish tailed to the
top. Just when the ice and visibility got so bad I was going to turn around
I noticed a sign saying we made the summit. We skidded down into the
interior, lowered the top and enjoyed the sunny 60 degree country side.
Later that day I had a similar experience heading up the Rockies, had to
stop for three avalanches, then skidded down into a -40 degree Alberta
evening (top up by this point). I plugged in the core heater that night,
managed to get her fired up in the morning and coasted into my Saskatchewan
home looking like a refugee from a Mad Max movie.
