However, back to Bud's question, if its really the PI engine then the
compression ratio is 9.5:1. I wonder how many horses we get from these?

I mis-read the data. It was easy to do. Read it and see if you
immediately catch it!
"HE - General engine no suffix for high compression"
Apparently the "no" on the statement means Number. So in effect the
statement reads, " HE - General engine number for high compression
engines"
I read it as saying, "HE - General engine. No suffix for high
compression!
I didn't write this one, so it ain't my fault this time!!!! :)
